Julius Baer names Peter Siber as its first chief risk officer for Asia and the Middle East

Julius Baer said the appointment of a chief risk officer for Asia and the Middle East reinforces the Swiss private bank's commitment to growth in the region.

Swiss private bank, Julius Baer, has appointed Peter Siber as chief risk officer for Asia and the Middle East, a newly created position in Singapore, with immediate effect.

Siber will be responsible for legal, credit and risk management for the private bank's Asia operation. He will report regionally to Singapore-based Thomas Meier, chief executive for Asia and the Middle East, and functionally to Zurich-based Bernhard Hodler, group chief risk officer.
