Nomura hires Hau

Sandor Hau leaves Goldman Sachs after 12 years.

Nomura has appointed Sandor Hau as head of high yield and distressed credit in the Americas.

Hau will be based in New York, and report locally to Jeff Michaels and Charlie Spero, co-heads of fixed income for the Americas.

Hau leaves Goldman Sachs, where he worked for 12 years. Most recently he was a managing director, running the investing and capital arbitrage group within Goldman Sachs Principal Strategies.
