Wilson to move from BoE to Moody's

Bank of England institutions head Alastair Wilson moves to Moody's as chief credit officer for Europe

Moody's Investors Service has appointed Alastair Wilson as chief credit officer for Europe. In this newly created role, Wilson will report to chief risk officer Richard Cantor, and will be based in London.

Wilson will be responsible for Moody's credit policy function in Europe, and will liaise with the global credit policy group to review and approve ratings methodologies.

He joins Moody's after 21 years at the Bank of England, where most recently, in 2009, he was appointed head of the financial
