Société Générale Private Banking appoints new chief exec in South Asia

The private banking arm of Société Générale has made Olivier Gougeon chief executive of its South Asia operations

Olivier Gougeon takes charge of SG Private Banking's South Asia team

Société Générale Private Banking has boosted its South Asia team with the hire of Olivier Gougeon as chief executive. Gougeon will be based in Singapore and replaces Pierre-Francois Baer, who is moving to another role within the Société Générale group. Gougeon will become a member of the global and Asia-Pacific executive committee of the private bank and will manage the day-to-day operations of the Singapore office.

Gougeon will work alongside Alex Fung, chief executive for Hong Kong and North
