Qbasis builds ETF on its futures fund

Fund manager Qbasis has created an actively managed exchange-traded fund (ETF) to give investors onshore access to its futures fund, and is seeking a listing for the ETF on the London Stock Exchange.

Liechtenstein-based Qbasis follows on the heels of a wave of fund managers who have entered the ETF market by offering a tracker on their actively managed funds. The ETF will broaden Qbasis's investor base by making its strategy available to the retail market through the low-cost, liquid vehicle.
