John Wengler is the chief risk officer (CRO) at Chicago-based energy supplier BlueStar Energy Solutions. He joined the company in April of this year from Entergy where he had been CRO since 2002.

Moving from a Fortune 500 integrated electricity company with approximately 30,000 megawatts of generation to a relatively recent (2000) start-up with 200 employees has transformed how Wengler must look at managing risk.
