BNP Paribas snares Quentin Renaud from SocGen for MTNs and structured products

BNP Paribas has added Quentin Renaud to its London-based global MTN trading desk

Quentin Renaud joins BNP Paribas

Quentin Renaud will join BNP Paribas' medium-term note (MTN) trading desk in London on June 28, reporting to Marc Falconer, the bank's global head of MTNs and private placements. Renaud was formerly a syndicate trader on the EMTN and structured products desk at Société Générale in London. Prior to that, he worked in structured products sales at HSBC's equity derivatives division in Paris.

Renaud's appointment to BNP's global MTN team follows the hire of Smit Acharya to the same team. Acharya
