The end of June is proving to be a slow period for the US market, with another small issuance. But a trend is emerging for investing in the European benchmark Eurostoxx 50 index, which has featured a few times this month.

Europe may seem like an odd investment choice given the debt problems within the 'Pigs' countries (Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain), which have in turn affected the rest of the eurozone. The Eurostoxx 50 has also dipped over the past couple of days on the back of weak US
