RBS hires head of US macro credit strategy

RBS recruits Alliance Bernstein’s Edward Marrinan as US macro credit head, plus Cantor Fitzgerald’s Ian Jaffe and Seth Levine.

RBS has hired Edward Marrinan as its new head of US macro credit strategy.

Marrinan will be based in Stamford, Connecticut, and report to John Richards, head of strategy for the Americas.

Marrinan joins from Alliance Bernstein, where he was a senior portfolio manager in the global wealth management business from February 2008.

From March 1993 to December 2007, Marrinan held various roles in fixed income for JP Morgan. He had previously worked for investment bank Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, in both
