Scor appoints new CRO

Paris-based reinsurer Scor has appointed Philippe Trainar as chief risk officer of the group, with explicit responsibility for Solvency II issues. Trainar will also join Scor's executive committee and is replacing Jean-Luc Besson who is due to retire.

Michel Dacorogna, currently head of group financial analysis and risk modelling, will be Trainar's deputy CRO. Trainar has been chief economist at Scor since 2006 and prior to this held a number of high-level positions within the French government
