Deutsche Bank hires new head of Tokyo commodities division

Deutsche Bank has appointed Kenichiro Yamaguchi to head the bank's Japanese commodities division in a newly created position.

Yamaguchi is based in Tokyo and reports globally to Brian Cumming, global head of oil sales and origination, and locally to Naohiro Nishida and Yoshitaka Kasai, co-heads of debt capital markets for the Japanese corporate coverage group.

He joins Deutsche from Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, where he has been chief operating officer of the bank's London-based fuel-trading
