Three appointed to Board for Actuarial Standards

The Board for Actuarial Standards (BAS) has appointed three new members.

David Hare, actuary for Edinburgh-based insurer Standard Life; Mukesh Mittal, previously chief actuary at Old Mutual; and Oonagh McDonald, previously a director of the UK's Financial Services Authority, have all joined the BAS to help meet its 2010 deadline for producing key Technical Actuarial Standards.
