DTEK creates European electricity trading platform

Ukrainian fuel and energy provider DTEK has created a subsidiary company, Power Trade, enabling it to trade and export electricity to Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Power Trade has received a licence from the National Commission for Power Regulation and has signed am agreement with Energorynok, the state company and operator of the wholesale electricity market in Ukraine, to supply power at a non-regulated tariff.
