JP Morgan hires retail structured products coordinator in Asia

JP Morgan has hired Paul Goodman from Deutsche Asset Management in Hong Kong as head of a newly formed coordinator of complaince for its retail structured product and equity derivatives group. Goodman reports to William Lee, head of equity derivatives for Asia excluding Japan.

Goodman is responsible for building the derivatives operations across new jurisdictions in non-Japan Asia. His role does not cover marketing or sales or trading, but focuses on expanding JP Morgan’s derivatives operation into new jurisdictions, says a spokeswoman for the bank.

Goodman will sit between traditional marketing and trading roles and coordinate with different internal and external groups to roll out the new operations in different countries. He will ensure system requirements are met
