BGI appoints Fuhr global head of ETF Research and Implementation
Barclays Global Investors (BGI) has appointed Deborah Fuhr as global head of exchange-traded funds (ETF) Research and Implementation Strategy, in a newly created role effective from September 15. Fuhr will also occupy the position of a managing director, based in London. Fuhr will report to Rory Tobin, chief executive of iShares in Europe, as well as global CEOs and sales teams.
Under Fuhr, the new ETF Research and Implementation Strategy team at BGI will be responsible for producing analysis on the ETF industry and compiling research reports to BGI’s range of institutional and intermediary clients, exploring the development of asset allocation strategies using ETFs. Fuhr will also work with BGI’s client base in Europe, North America, Australasia, Latin America and the Middle East.
