Dow Jones Indexes licensed to Commerz to underlie ETFs

Dow Jones Indexes and Stoxx have licensed a range of indexes to Commerzbank, to underlie 22 exchange-traded funds (ETFs) listed on the Deutsche Boerse. The licensed indexes comprise the Dow Jones Euro Stoxx 50, Dow Jones Euro Stoxx Select Dividend 30, Dow Jones Stoxx 600, the 18 Dow Jones Stoxx 600 Supersector indexes and the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average tracks the performance of 30 American blue chip companies, selected by editors of The Wall Street Journal and is price-weighted.

The Dow Jones Euro Stoxx 50 index represents 50 supersector leaders in 12 eurozone countries, including Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain. The index is weighted by float-adjusted market capitalisation and the weight of each constituent is capped at 10%.
