Lyxor launches new commodity ETFs
Lyxor Asset Management’s (Lyxor) latest commodities ETFs will be the first to be listed on the London Stock Exchange, and the first to be linked to the Reuters/Jefferies CRB Index. The Lyxor ETF Commodities CRB (GBP) and the Lyxor ETF Commodities CRB Non-Energy (GBP) give access to the full spectrum of commodities and can include or exclude energy. The ETFs will be made available in US dollars and will feature a total annual expense ratio of 35bp.
“This and other commodities ETFs that may come to market later this year and next will act as a catalyst for a huge increase in the amount UK investors invest in this asset class,” says Justin Urquhart Stewart, director of Seven Investment Management.
Lyxor listed its first ETFs in the UK market in May, when three ETFs based on FTSE indices last month offered investors access to the UK market.
