LSE offers exposure to commodity forwards with nine new ETCs

ETF Securities is launching nine new exchange traded commodities (ETCs) on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) tomorrow, as investor appetite grows for exposure to the commodities bull-run.

The ETCs will track the Dow Jones-AIG Commodity Forward indexes, which include agriculture, grains, industrial metals, livestock, petroleum and energy. "Many investors have approached us showing an appetite for ETCs priced off a range of commodities futures," says Graham Tuckwell, chairman of ETF securities.

The provider is set to launch 19 more ETCs this year, offering exposure to forwards for both hard and soft commodities such as aluminium, silver, lean hogs, coffee and crude oil. Commodities
