ETF Securities launches 33 leveraged ETCs and 4 new commodities

ETF Securities has launched 33 leveraged Exchange Traded Commodities (ETCs) and four new commodity indexes, comprising cocoa, lead, tin and platinum. The new ETCs are available on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and add to the total of 110 ETCs created so far by ETF Securities.

Leveraged ETCs allow investors to earn a positive return when the index is rising, with 50% less capital, by earning two times the daily percent change in the index. “In times like these where liquidity is tight, Leveraged ETCs can provide these diversification benefits with 50% less capital,” says Graham Tuckwell, chairman of ETF Securities.
