Barclays Stockbrokers launches two capital protected investment notes

Barclays Stockbrokers has launched two new investment notes to coincide with the beginning of ISA season. The notes have been designed to offer portfolio diversity while providing a tax efficient investment opportunity, if held in an ISA, PEP or SIPP.

The five-year Euro Stoxx Top 50 Investment Note tracks the Dow Jones Euro Stoxx 50 Index. The note offers a potential return of 75% if the final index level is equal to, or higher than the initial level. The initial investment is repaid in full at maturity, provided the index does not fall below 60% of the initial level and fails to recover, whereby capital loss is 1:1.
