Dow Jones Stoxx 600 index to underlie Deutsche ETF

Deutsche Bank AG has licensed the Dow Jones Stoxx 600 index to underlie its latest exchange-traded fund (ETF). The index comprises a broad range of large, mid and small-cap companies across 18 European countries, consisting of Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.

The index implements a rules-based methodology in order to track the performance of 600 leading companies. The licensing of the index complements Deutsche's existing ETF range based on Dow Jones Stoxx 600 Supersector indexes, which provide exposure to more focused, specific segments rather than a broad view of pan-European markets.

The db x-trackers DJ Stoxx 600 ETF is listed on the Deutsche Börse. The indexes are reviewed quarterly and calculated in euros and US dollars.
