McDermott Will & Emery appoints energy derivatives partner

The former director of enforcement for the US Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Gregory Mocek, has been recruited by international law firm McDermott Will & Emery as a partner.

Mocek will join the firm's energy derivatives markets' practice group, as well as the regulation and government affairs department.

Mocek was appointed director of the CFTC's enforcement division in 2002, when he managed more than 150 attorneys and investigators and the commission's investigations and
