S&P expects new structured finance issuance this year to grow across emerging market territories and asset classes.

"We expect countries such as South Africa, Turkey and Russia to lead new markets in 2007 with large rises in issuance volumes, albeit off relatively low bases, and the securitisation of new types of assets," says Perry Inglis, European securitisation head at the agency.
