FSA: UK banks' progress on TCF too slow

LONDON – Financial services firms still have a "huge amount" to do to comply with the UK Financial Services Authority's (FSA) Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) consumer protection regime by the March and December 2008 deadlines, according to an FSA report. But industry experts say the regulator needs to step up its TCF activities as well, to show the industry it is serious about improving customer treatment.
