UK postpones BCP principles publication
LONDON – UK financial authorities have decided to postpone the publication of high-level business continuity planning (BCP) principles until the second half of 2005, according to a new report published at the end of October.
The Financial sector business continuity progress report outlines the accomplishments of the Tripartite Standing Committee on Financial Stability since the Task Force on Major Operational Disruption in the Financial System issued its original findings in December 2003 on the state of the UK financial sector's BCP. The new progress report is expected to become an annual event.
