The European Commission is about to present the draft Solvency II framework directive to the EU parliament. As the new chairman of CEIOPS, how do you see your role as Solvency II moves to a political stage?

I am open to an intensive dialogue with all the stakeholders on the political level, in the light of what the Commission is producing as a framework directive. Whatever the Commission produces is first of all a framework. It has little to do with the content of
