Aviva CFO steps down

Philip Scott, the chief financial officer of London-based insurer Aviva, will step down at the end of the year. He will also leave his position as executive board director.

Scott has worked at Aviva for 36 years, taking over as finance chief in 2007 following Andrew Moss's appointment as chief executive. Prior to this he headed the group's European division. Aviva is currently searching for Scott's successor.
