LSE and Borsa Italiana merger to offer cross-platform trading

Structured products from Italy and the UK will be available to both London Stock Exchange (LSE) and Borsa Italiana investors on a single platform following the merger of the two exchanges in June. The products, coined as securitised derivatives by both exchanges, will be traded on the UK and Italian markets using the new TradElect trading platform.

The platform, which was launched in June on the LSE, allows a single point of entry to both exchanges and will replace Borsa Italiana's trading
