Trading goes live at South Pool

Trading at the South Pool regional energy exchange, a joint-venture between Slovenian power market operator Borzen and Eurex, began today.

The new project unites the Slovenian and Serbian power markets, offering cleared day-ahead products.

Power trading in Slovenia is carried out in continuous and auction trading sessions, while Serbia's electricity day-ahead market is organised in continuous trading sessions. South Pool’s ComXerv spot trading system offers the separate markets on a single trading screen.
