FOA probes falling UK power market volumes

The Futures and Options Association (FOA) and its Power Trading Forum are launching a new project to identify the reasons for declining liquidity on the UK power markets, and to put forward recommendations as to how this trend might be reversed.

The project will survey existing market structures and operations and the views of a cross-section of market participants in order to put forward recommendations, expected later this summer, on a number of specific issues. These include: addressing
