In reazione ai recenti scandali che hanno interessato il settore bancario, la Banca d'Italia ha emanato delle nuove disposizioni in materia di governo societario, le cui implicazioni potrebbero risultare molto estese. Gail Mwamba
Al termine di un processo di consultazione pubblica avviato nell'ottobre 2007, la Banca d'Italia ha emanato in marzo nuove disposizioni di vigilanza intese a migliorare il modello di governo societario nel settore bancario. Nello specifico, l'iniziativa intende rafforzare l'applicazione di regole per la separazione delle funzioni di gestione e di controllo nelle banche, nonchß affrontare il tema dei meccanismi di remunerazione dell'alta direzione.
