Malaysia may reduce structureD products threshold
Malaysia's Securities Commission, one of the country's chief financial regulators, is said to be considering the introduction of draft guidelines that would further reduce the minimum investment threshold for structured products in the country.
The minimum threshold for structured product investments in Malaysia is Rm250,000 ($72,500), and some dealers in the country say the authorities could reduce this level to as little as RM10,000, although others suggest the level is more likely to be around
