Deutsche Bank has maintained its lead in AsiaRisk’s eighth annual interbank derivatives survey, with US giant JP Morgan Chase following closely behind, in a rerun of last year’s results. By Saima Farooqi

Deutsche Bank has maintained its grip on Asia’s interbank derivatives market, having been voted the region’s top derivatives dealer for the second year running. But following closely behind is JP Morgan Chase, proving once again that the depth and breadth of the large banking giants is vital in becoming a top player in the region’s interbank market.

Deutsche Bank was voted top dealer in 19 of the 85 product categories, with JP Morgan Chase securing 14 top spots. HSBC, Citibank and SG
