JOB CYCLE

New York-based risk management software vendor SummitSystems has hired Emmanuel Fruchard from Crédit Lyonnais to head up its financial engineering group.

Fruchard was previously based in Paris and ran Lyonnais' research and development for interest rate and forex products.

At Summit, Fruchard will oversee a team of developers working on pricing models and risk algorithms, according to vendor officials.

Meanwhile, Summit Systems' former technical support manager, Albert Fahri, has left the vendor, destination unknown.

Summit officials decline to comment on Fahri's departure, but industry sources say he parted company with the vendor over differences with senior management on staffing levels.

Infinity Financial Technology has appointed Keith Hospers to the newly created post of vice president of software engineering.

Hospers was previously at Informix Software, the parallel-processing relational database systems vendor.

Nick Bryan has been appointed technical director at CWB, the London-based risk management systems integration consultancy.

Prior to his promotion, Bryan was a systems integration and development manager at the company.

Swiss vendor Infotec has lost its head of U.K. sales operations. Vaughn Moriondo has left to join Turnquay Solutions.
