SunGard to expand business continuity site

WAYNE, PENNSYLVANIA -- SunGard Availability Services, an operating group of US-based IT integration company SunGard, said in September it would expand its business continuity centre in Carlstadt, New Jersey by 30% with the development of a new 100,000 square foot facility. The company expects the centre to be completed in the second quarter of 2003, at a cost of over $50 million.

The expanded centre will support more than 1,000 end-user recovery positions and 2,000 square feet dedicated to high
