Basle discussion document will centre on internal measurement approach
BASLE -- Global banking regulators intend to issue in June or July a special discussion document on operational risk in the context of Basle II, the new capital adequacy accord proposed for large international banks from 2004.
Officials with the Basle Committee on Banking Supervision, which in effect regulates international banking, confirmed this to Operational Risk in March. But they declined to go into details at this stage.
