Banks Urged To Share Year 2000 Compliance Information

NEW YORK--Officials from Citicorp and SBC Warburg Dillon Read outlined their approach to managing counterparty credit risks arising from the Year 2000 problem at a conference organized last week by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. However, delegates from many small and mid-sized banks expressed concern that the financial services industry was not pooling resources and information on millennium-related counterparty creditworthiness.
