Deutsche hires head of IT for global markets derivatives

Deutsche Bank has hired Diane Brunsden from JP Morgan Chase spin-off Arcordia Solutions as global head of information technology for its global markets derivatives division.

She will run IT for all Deutsche’s main derivatives units except equities. “Diane is an experienced IT director with an outstanding track record running large software development teams in international investment banking,” said Michael Baldwin, Deutsche’s chief information officer for global markets and global credit products technology and operations, to whom Brunsden will now report.

Brunsden was director of IT at Arcordia, a firm set up to develop technology services for over-the-counter derivatives processing. Previously she held a number of senior positions at JP Morgan covering trading, risk management, settlement, accounting and custody.

She will be based at Deutsche’s London office.
