Société Générale promotes Cassot as Joubert departs for BarCap

Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking (SG CIB) has appointed Vincent Cassot as head of equity derivatives research, after previous head Arnaud Joubert left the bank to join Barclays Capital.

Cassot will be based in Paris and will report to David Escoffier, global head of equity derivatives flow and hedge fund group sales. He joined SG CIB in 2004 as a senior derivatives analyst developing a research service dedicated to the flow equity derivatives business, servicing the hedge fund and asset management communities.

He previously was a derivatives and convertibles analyst at Aurel-Leven in Paris and is a graduate of the Bordeaux Management School with a degree in economics.
