JP Morgan Chase hires portfolio options trader

JP Morgan Chase has re-hired Joakin Diedricks to look after global portfolio options within the foreign exchange trading group in London.

Diedricks returns from Bank of America in New York, where he was head of forwards trading, having joined from JP Morgan Chase last year. His previous role was senior trader for North American rates. He will now report to Chris Harris and Tim Leitch, co-heads of forex options trading at JP Morgan Chase in New York.

Meanwhile, in London the bank has hired Francois Petit as a corporate sales dealer for Belgian clients. Petit, who starts next month, was previously at Deutsche Bank in Brussels, where he was a derivatives sales dealer reporting to London-based head of European corporate forex sales, Stephane Treny. His position has not yet been replaced, said a spokesperson at Deutsche Bank in London. He will report to Frederick Blondel, head of French and Belgian forex sales at the US bank.
