Fox-Pitt Kelton poaches Citigroup veteran to head Asian operations

Fox-Pitt Kelton (FPK), the investment banking subsidiary of insurance company Swiss Re, has hired Chris Appleton to head its Asian derivatives department.

Appleton joins FPK from the Hong Kong office of Citigroup’s investment banking unit Salomon Smith Barney, where he was managing director of Asian sales. Appleton, who has more than 20 years experience of working in Asia's financial markets, will report to Colin McGill, managing director of FPK in London.
