Borsa Italiana launches new derivatives trading platform

Borsa Italiana, the Italian equity and derivatives exchange based in Milan, has launched its new electronic trading platform for derivatives, called OM Click. The platform, which uses technology from Sweden’s software and financial services provider OM Group, is a significant upgrade of the previous system and will enable Borsa Italiana to increase the range of derivatives products traded at the exchange.

Borsa Italiana claims the new platform is one of the most advanced in Europe and will significantly strengthen its position among European derivatives exchanges.
