Rolling credit

In the period from December 2006 to November 2007, the Cutting Edge section saw a slightly increased number of submissions compared with last year, but trends in publications and rejections (only one out of four sees the light of acceptance) show how our pages have become more selective.

Credit risk is still the most debated topic - around 10 articles dealt with collateralised debt obligation pricing, credit portfolios and loss given default modelling. Given recent market turbulence and research activities in progress, it will be not surprising to have the same attention given to credit market in the coming year. Richard Martin's contributions to this topic were apparent in 2007 and he is leading the ranking as most published author in Risk in the last decade (10 articles in 14
