Panellists at Asia Risk Congress say there needs to be clarity on close-out netting in certain countries before establishing CCPs

Uncertainty in the ability to close-out net over-the-counter derivative transactions in certain Asian jurisdictions must be resolved before central counterparties (CCPs) are able to be established, speakers on a panel on OTC derivative clearing told the Asia Risk Congress 2012 in Hong Kong yesterday.
