Japan Airlines teams up with SolArc

Japan Airlines (JAL) has selected SolArc RightAngle as its Next Generation Fuel Administration System (NGFAS).

The airline is the latest company to employ the commodity management software. The system will manage fuel procurement, market price hedging, fuel inventories, and the automation of Japan’s fuel tax requirements for JAL’s fleet of 276 aircraft serving more than 400 international and domestic routes.

The software will enable JAL to consolidate its fuel management information systems into a single solution for fuel supply contracts, fuel budget, inventory management, and automated supplier invoice
