Transition management industry branded ‘a mess’

The transition management industry has some serious problems in areas related to transparency, benchmarking and due diligence, according to at least one speaker at the Transition Management Asia 2010 conference in Hong Kong. “If I’m being kind, I’d say this industry is a bit confused,” said Graham Dixon, a director at Inalytics in London, a company that analyses fund managers. “If I’m being nasty, I think I’d say it’s in a bit of a mess.”

Dixon pointed to the disparity between the way fund
