Electronic trading is growing fast in Asia, with financial institutions offering clients an increasing array of cost-effective services as a means of retaining business and attracting new clients. Pamela Tang reports

Electronic trading has seen significant uptake in Asia in the past five years, especially in cash equities and futures contracts.
