SGX members gain access to commodity derivatives

Trading members of the Singapore Exchange (SGX) gained direct access to commodity derivatives contracts on the Singapore Commodity Exchange (Sicom) on October 1.

SGX offers derivatives and Sicom offers commodities contracts and, through this arrangement, SGX customers will be able to trade commodity derivatives electronically on Sicom and then clear the contracts on SGX.
