ABN Amro lists five commodity-linked certificates in Italy

Dutch Investment bank ABN Amro has launched five certificates in Italy tied to the new Club Commodity Index (Commin Index). Thanks to an exclusivity deal with the index provider, ABN Amro is the only bank to offer exposure to the index.

The Commin Index was launched by Club Commodity in conjunction with the ABN certificates and tracks the performance of 24 different commodities. The Commin Index has four sub-sector indexes, energy, metals, agricultural and soft commodities.

Club Commodity is a Milan-based organization that was founded in 1999 by Guingo Sylwan and Ettore Labianca, both experienced traders in US commodities and futures markets. The aim of the club was to open up the commodity markets to new traders not familiar
