Barclays Division Signs Up For Sema Recovery Centre

Barclays Stockbrokers, the brokerage division of UK-based Barclays Group, has become one of the first takers for a new business recovery service, launched last month in Cumbernauld, Scotland.

If the firm’s Glasgow offices suffer a power failure, network outage, fire or flood, or some other unforeseen operational interruption, staff will be able to entirely relocate to Cumbernauld, where there are servers and desktop computers for up to 420 staff, with complete front- and back-office capabilities
